Abe\, a passionate whiskey connoisseur and collector\, after a long journey in the world of commerce in the United States\, decided to cross the ocean. And so it was that\, on 27 May 1938\, he founded a new business in Glasgow\, naming it Duncan Taylor & Co. He quickly earned a reputation as a respectable whiskey broker and merchant in Scotland. Over the years\, Abe managed to amass a collection of over 4\,000 single malt and grain whiskey casks\, until his death in 1994. In addition to his vast collection\, his legacy included a desire to entrust Duncan Taylor to someone who shared his vision and operational approach.
