SUMMARY:Introduction to wine course
DESCRIPTION:The course responds to the widespread need and interest in knowing and appreciating wine\, enjoying it\, serving it and pairing it correctly with food in an increasingly conscious way. It will be enriched with a strictly necessary theoretical notions and will have a concrete approach. \n🍷 It is divided into five non-binding lessons of two hours each carried out in a conversational form. The first hour and a half will focus on the overview of the theme and the in-depth study of the basic notions\, also developed in relation to the interests and curiosities of the participants and with the use of the teaching material. The final half hour will be dedicated to the guided tasting of three wines appropriately chosen and accompanied by some delicacies from our gastronomy. \n🎓A textbook will be handed out at the beginning of the course and a certificate of participation will be delivered at the end. Abe\, a passionate whiskey connoisseur and collector\, after a long journey in the world of commerce in the United States\, decided to cross the ocean. And so it was that\, on 27 May 1938\, he founded a new business in Glasgow\, naming it Duncan Taylor & Co. He quickly earned a reputation as a respectable whiskey broker and merchant in Scotland. Over the years\, Abe managed to amass a collection of over 4\,000 single malt and grain whiskey casks\, until his death in 1994. In addition to his vast collection\, his legacy included a desire to entrust Duncan Taylor to someone who shared his vision and operational approach.
